'Indians now represent over 10% of all US visa applicants worldwide'

The US Embassy in New Delhi has processed over 1 million non-immigrant visa applications from India this year, marking a 20% increase from pre-Covid numbers. Indians now represent over 10% of all visa applicants worldwide, with 20% of student visa applicants and 65% of employment visa applicants. The embassy plans to launch a pilot program for domestic visa renewal for qualified employment visa applicants.
